Marou rougui, also known as Matouyan rougui, is a famous variety of Wuyi rock tea. The tea leaves of Marou rougui are tightly curled, dark in color, with a fine white frost on the surface, and emit a faint cinnamon and floral aroma when dry. After brewing, the tea soup is orange-yellow and clear, with a rich and spicy aroma, a mellow and sweet taste, and a distinct "rock charm".
