Origin

The origin of the name of Huazhu Liangzi is inseparable from the wild smooth bamboo that is abundant in the mountains. The locals call the highest mountain "Liangzi". This place grows a piece of wild bamboo with long and smooth bamboo joints, which the locals call smooth bamboo, so this place is called "Huazhu Liangzi".

Huazhu Liangzi is located in Mengsong Town, Menghai County, western Xishuangbanna State, Yunnan Province. Huazhu Liangzi Mountain is known as the roof of Xishuangbanna and the top of Xishuangbanna. At the same time, Huazhu Liangzi is also the highest peak in Xishuangbanna State. The highest altitude is 2429.5 meters.
